France - Champagne - Champagne Grand Cru - "This ample rosé has a lot of cherry fruit character with fresh acidity to match and a citrus zest character that underlines this. There is a touch of tannin at the finish which might well please red wine lovers. Restrained mousse."
Not all sparkling wines can be labeled as Champagne. Only sparkling wines produced in the Champagne region of France, using specific methods and grape varieties, can legally bear the name “Champagne.” This designation is protected by law to ensure the quality and origin of the product. Sparkling wines from other regions, even if made in a similar style, must be labeled differently.
