Champagne, France - "Bright floral and cherry aromas jump out of the glass while the red fruit is complemented by stone fruit and a touch of spice on the finish. As the wine opens, the smooth fruit melts more and more into the energetic texture."
Not all sparkling wines can be labeled as Champagne. Only sparkling wines produced in the Champagne region of France, using specific methods and grape varieties, can legally bear the name “Champagne.” This designation is protected by law to ensure the quality and origin of the product. Sparkling wines from other regions, even if made in a similar style, must be labeled differently.
